Paul Wisniewski in a field of spring vegetables. The  Farmers' Market has supplied the town of Usk and the surrounding region for many years, with locally produced , fresh organic produce direct from the growers. The market trades for six hours a month on the first and third Saturdays and can only go so far in providing customers with an "as need" supply. A new venture is starting in collaboration with The Green Flute Tea Rooms run by Christine Birch, who supplies the Usk Farmers' Market tea room with her cakes on a rota basis.  Christine has kindly agreed for the Green Flute Tea Room (Usk Rural Life Museum) to serve as a  collection point for vegetable boxes to be delivered on the weekends the market is not scheduled to take place. The organically certified vegetables are grown by Paul Wisnieski at Trealy Farm near Monmouth with the boxes comprising a selection of seasonal vegetables with the option of tailoring to individual tastes. If you are interetsed in finding out more about the scheme, discussing what is currently available and the possibility of ordering boxes please use the form  at this link
