Customer Membership

Customer Membership is a new initiative designed to extend the role of the market in providing an opportunity for customers to have direct contact with producers and to buy their products.  The physical market is limited. to a degree. in only taking place twice a month and Saturdays is not always convenient for many. The first idea is to provide an online ordering facility that will ensure your products are not sold out before you arrive at the market and also to establish deliveries to Usk on a more regular basis. The ordering section of the website is set up for a limited number of stall holders but will be particularly useful for marking Christmas Orders.

 If you would like to become a member then please complete the form at this link   A website Account will be created for you and when logged in to the site an ordering facility will become available. This will enable members to order items from producers, that have opted to offer the service, for collection at a market or for future weekly deliveries to Usk

 

Producer Membership

How to apply to attend the market and details about how it operates.

Individuals and establishments will need to register themselves and their products in order to apply to attend the markets at Usk.  The first step is to complete and submit the form at this link.

The form is used to establish accurate information about your operation and contact details. If the application is accepted an individual web page on the Usk Farmers' Markets website will be generated.

The Market operation

After the application process is complete,  markets may be booked using an online form. Markets are booked, in advance, on a quarterly basis with the current form at this link

  The booked markets will be confirmed, a stall reserved and a confirmation email will be sent to you.

The market takes place on the first and third Saturday of each month and is scheduled to run between 10.00am to 13.00 pm although there is usually an early morning rush of customers so it is advised for stallholders to be ready to trade by 9.30am.

Stall costs
The cost of attending is £25 per market and payments are required 2 weeks prior to booked markets in order for the reservation to be confirmed. Invoices are issued via emails and payments are made using bank transfer.  Instructions are included on the invoice.  Other methods of payment may be negotiated. 
There are two areas where the stalls are located:  inside the hall where tables are supplied 6' X 2 1/2' with electricity available and outdoors; where covered stalls 8' X 4' are supplied and electricity is available on request.
